This Privacy Policy explains how Movey collects, uses, and protects data when you use the Service.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect:

  • Account data: email address, subscription state, token balances, and settings when you register.
  • Security and usage data: IP address, device/browser information, request logs, and abuse-prevention signals.
  • Prompt inputs and generated outputs: prompts, project settings, uploaded references, generated images, videos, audio, and related metadata needed to provide and improve the Service.
  • Billing data: payment status and checkout metadata from trusted payment providers. We do not store full card details.
  • Analytics data: page views, source/medium/campaign data, product events, and conversion events when consent allows it.

Important privacy warning: Do not include private or sensitive information in prompts or uploaded assets, such as passwords, API keys, identity numbers, financial information, or confidential client data.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

2. How We Use Data

We use data to:

  • Provide, debug, and improve Movey and Director projects;
  • Run generation jobs, store outputs, and manage user accounts;
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce safety rules;
  • Understand which pages, ads, and workflows help users create successful projects;
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations.

3. Cookies, Local Storage, and Consent

Movey uses essential cookies and local storage for login, account security, language settings, and core product behavior. These are needed for the Service to work.

Optional analytics and marketing storage is controlled through our privacy preferences. You can accept all, reject non-essential storage, or separately allow analytics and marketing measurement.

4. Analytics, Ads Measurement, and Session Insights

When consent allows it, Movey uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, and Google Signals to measure visits, product events, sign-ups, Director project starts, checkout starts, and purchases.

When analytics consent allows it, Movey may also use Microsoft Clarity to understand user-interface friction through aggregated heatmaps and session insights. Clarity is not used to intentionally collect prompt text, emails, passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, or raw personal identifiers.

Movey sends only limited event context to measurement tools, such as page path, workflow name, plan tier, event status, value, currency, and transaction ID where relevant. We do not intentionally send prompt text, emails, passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, or raw personal identifiers to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Microsoft Clarity.

For users in regions that require consent, Movey starts Google consent signals as denied by default and loads Microsoft Clarity only after analytics consent is granted.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted providers for hosting, payment processing, analytics, email, logging, storage, AI model generation, and support. These providers process data only for the services they provide to Movey.

6. Data Retention

Account, billing, prompt, job, and generated media records may be retained while your account is active and for reasonable periods afterward for security, debugging, legal, billing, and abuse-prevention purposes. We minimize retained personal data where practical.

7. Legal Basis and Your Rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with similar rights, our processing may rely on contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligations depending on the context.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of your personal data where applicable.

8. Security Measures

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
